Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Qualification;

(a). Should have passed in six (06) subjects in one sitting with four (04) credit passes for subjects including

1.Sinhala/Tamil

2.Mathematics

3.English Language

at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary level) Examination

(b). Should have passed in at least three (03) subjects (except Geberal Common test) at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination

(c).Should have been holding a permanent post in service and should have been made permanent.

(d).Should have completed at least five (05) years of satisfactory service continuously in a permanent post immediately preceding the specified date.
