The following documents should accompany application/nomination.

A complete Curriculum Vitae of applicant/nominee including date of birth.
A personal statement of vision for the University indicating what the candidate expects to achieve if appointed.
A letter of consent from the nominee in case of a nomination.
A letter from the employer indicating whether applicant/nominee could be released in the event of his/her appointment to the post, in case of an applicant/nominee serving in Public Service, Corporation, Statutory Bodies and Higher Educational Institutions other than the Eastern University, Sri Lanka.
Where the present incumbent is an applicant such applicant should also give a report highlighting the accomplishments during his/her first term in office.

The applicant/nominee may be required to present formally or informally his/her vision for the University to the University Council.

The envelope containing the application/nomination with the required documents must be marked "Post of the Vice-Chancellor" on the top left-hand corner.

Application/nomination could also be sent via email to postofvc@esn.ac.lk. All annexures must be in PDF format.

Applications received at the Registrar's Office after the closing date and time will not be entertained.
