Age Limit;

Should be not less than 35 years and not more than 50 years. The upper limit does not apply to internal candidates.

Qualification;

External : (1 or 2 below)

1. B.Sc. (Special) Degree in Science / Engineering or B.Sc. (General) Degree in Science with a Class from a recognized University.

And

Ph.D. in Science from a recognized University and Postgraduate Research Degree.

2. B.Sc. (Special) Degree in Science from a recongnized University with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division.

And

Postgraduate (Master) Degree in Nuclear Science or any other field with a component in application of Radioisotope and/or Ionizing Radiation.

Experience : 20 years experience in progressively responsible position in research & management at National/International in managerial level in a recognized organization of which 05 years should be in Senior Managerial level after obtaining Ph.D. and who shall posses wide experience in the field of Nuclear Science and Technology.

Internal :

B.Sc.Degree in Science from a recognized University.

And

Postgraduate Degree in Nuclear Science or in any other field with a component in application of Radioisotope and /or Ionizing Radiation.

Experience :

05 years of experience in Senior Manager Category as a Senior Deputy Director / Director in the Atomic Energy Authority / Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board.
