Boiler Operator (Grade III) – Department of Animal Production and Health

Age Limit;

Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as at 21.09.2018 (Maximum age limit is not applicable for those who already hold a permanent post in the government service).

Qualification;

Educational Qualifications - Should have passed G.C.E. (O/L) in 06 subjects including two credits in not more than two sittings.

Professional Qualifications

Should have obtained a proficiency certificate in respect of boiler or have passed certificate examination for boiler workers.

Experience

Should have least 03 years of experience in respect of works related to boilers. Ability to replace the gauge glass, packing and knowledge in ordinary repairs is considered as a special qualification.

Physical Fitness

The selected officer may be required to serve in any part of the Island and should be physically and mentally fit to serve in and part of the Island.

Other Qualifications

i. Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka with an excellent character.

ii. Should have fulfilled required qualifications in all respects as at 21.09.2018
