Age Limit;
Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as at 21.09.2018. (Maximum age limit is not applicable for those who already hold a permanent post in the government service).
Qualification;
Educational Qualifications
Should have passed G.C.E. (O/L) in 06 subjects including two credits in not more than two sittings.
Professional Qualifications
Should have obtained National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) certificate not less than level 2 or 3 in respect of mechanical works from an Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.
Experience
Should have gained 02 years of experience in mechanical works from a recognized institute. Certificates should be produced in proof of experience.
Physical Fitness
The selected candidate may be required to serve in any part of the Island and should be physically and mentally fit to serve in and part of the Island.
Other Qualifications
i. Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka with an excellent character.
ii. Should have fulfilled required qualifications in all respects as at 21.09.2018
